Installation of Screen Door Latch LC201471

Question:
I received this part and I am installing it. The back side of this latch has three standoffs that prvent the latch from laying flat against the door. I didnt see these in your pictures or video. Should these be cut off or what?

The standoffs/nubs on the backside of the Lippert RV Entry Screen Door Latch # LC201471 that you referenced can indeed just be sanded off or cut off so that it can lay flat against your door. This right hand latch will install on the left hand side of your door.
