Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at JR Products Door Latch for Amerimax RV screen doors. This is going to be in the left hand configuration, so those doors that open from the left-handed side or as you're sitting standing inside your RV, that entry is on the or the handle is on your left. So this will be the fit for you. Although I think it probably could still work if you wanted to flip it over.

But really the thing that makes a difference is this little angle to the top of that handle. That's where this keeper will rest. So as we open our door, that's going to catch that handle, so our screen door opens with the rest of our RV's door and we don't have to worry about opening each one separately. This piece is going to be where the striker actually rests. So this is on the inside of that door frame and that's where that will live.

It comes with the hardware to get this installed. So we'll have the hardware to mount everything in place.As far as our measurements, it's about three and three quarter inches long or three and three quarter inches tall by about four and a half inches wide from the outside of the handle to the striker there. If we go just from the outside of the handle to the rest of our piece, it's about four and an eighth inch long. The distance between those mounting holes, center to center is about three inches. As far as our other pieces, the striker there or the catch, it's about two and a quarter inch long by about one and an eighth, and about three eights of an inch thick.

Our keeper is about one and an eighth by seven eights and then it's going to stick out away from their wall by about an inch.This does have a lifetime warranty from JR Products and that's pretty much going to do it for our look at the JR Products Door Latch for the Amerimax RV screen doors in the left hand configuration.
