Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the JR Products door latch for Philips RV screen doors. This is going to be in a left hand configuration, so if you're looking at your screen door from the inside, this should line up with your outside of your door there. It's also going to come with the latch that goes over the top to keep that door in place next to your outside door, so whenever you go to push your screen door against the outside door, it gets caught by this little latch here. It also has the catch to go on that door if you don't already have a place, so this can easily go across there and have a little threshold to fit into.
Comes with the hardware to get this installed. We'll have some long bolts and short bolts. The longer bolts are going to be four of them. The shorter bolts, there'll be six of them. The handle from top to bottom measures about two and three-quarter inches long. This base portion is about an inch wide.
The distance between those mounting holes, center to center is about two and a quarter inch. From the end of our handle to that little striker, so the total width is about four and five-eighths inches. If we go just to the edge of the latch to the outside of the handle, it's about four and three-sixteenths. The handle all by itself is about three and a quarter inch. Sorry, I get a little off there.
As far as our catcher holding portion, it's about two and three-quarter inches long, about an inch and an eighth wide, and it comes away from our wall by about an inch and an eighth. On the back of this and our handle, there's a little piece of foam tape to kind of help give it some cushion so we don't have to worry about damaging anything. That's just going to help to keep it in place so you can space it out a little bit more. Our threshold piece here is about one and three-quarter inches by about three-quarter inches. The little hole inside there is about three-eighths of an inch by about seven-eighths. Just through the mounting holes there is about one and a quarter.
If we add in those little tabs at the end, it's about one and a sixteenth. Hopefully, those measurements help you to determine if this is going to be the right fit for you. Again, this is in that left hand configuration. It does have a lifetime warranty. That's going to do it for our look at the JR Products door latch for Philips RV screen doors.
