Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this replacement top cover for the Lippert Electric Trailer Jack. As you can see, this is in black and this is going to replace the top cover for your Lippert Components Electric Trailer Jack. On your screen, I am including our item number to that jack that this will fit for your reference. And this cover includes, as you can see here, the on and off and the retract and extend switches.
So, they are already installed in this cover. I do wanna point out that this does not include the rubber override plug. That is sold separately, but I do happen to have one here just to show you how that will fit on. So, that's just going to pop into place right there, and then it's easy to pop out as well. So if you are in need of the plug as well, I am including the item number to the plug.
You will get a set of two of these plugs. You can just take that item number and put it in the search field of our website here at etrailer.com and it will take you to those plugs. Now, this is made from a durable plastic construction and this is going to be exactly like the one that was on your jack already. So, you're not gonna have to worry about the fitment or anything like that. It's going to work exactly like your previous one that you are replacing.

The cover fit like an original apart. It seems to be of high quality, and the switches functioned perfectly. The cover snapped in place as if an original part and the securing process was easy.

What I order. All I needed was to replace the front extend and retract switch and lost the plug on top. So I order the top thinking I could get it all in one. But it was missing the rubber jack over.

The replacement top cover for my electric jack arrived earlier than expected, was packaged well so no damage to the box or contents, and was reasonably priced. It was installed in minutes. My electric jack now works as if it were brand new.
I like the weatherized switches although they were not the cause for replacing the cover. The original cover was leaking around the plug covering the manual gear connection.

The Lippert Electric Jack top cover was exactly what I needed. The top cover came in a short time after ordering. A part was missing from the cover and the customer service at etrailer provided excellent assistance in correcting the problem. This new top cover replaces the original that had a broken switch and sun damage. I have found etrailer to be beneficial supplier of quality parts.

Perfect fit and better switch surround. My stock switch didn't have the nice rubber boots surrounding the two switches. Does not come with Instructions but it's pretty straight forward. Six screws and a few wires to change over. I took a picture of the wires to make it easier. Also remember to disconnect your battery prior to starting this or you could blow a fuse, or worse ruin the brand new switches if the wires arch. I do wish they would have included a new rubber cover for the manual nut that I had been using because the switch was bad, and would only go up, but not down.
I have had this on my trailer for a year now and it has performed flawlessly. Fit was perfect, the weather seals on the switches was a good upgrade. Seervice fromj Etrailer was great as always.
It fit perfectly, and was even better than the original with the rubber boots around the switches. Very impressed!
Etrailer is the only company I could find that offered the case with the switches included. And at a bargain price when pricing the 2 switches and case separately. Needing the switches, it only made sense to me to simply order the entire unit for only a little more. Also, more importantly, the customer service was awesome. They offered an acceptable alternative to my original multi item order that allowed it to ship immediately. Great job etrailer!

The part worked and fit our jack as it should. We did have issues with shipping on this order but it was rectified.

After a year the Trailer Jack replacement cover with switches is holding up great... But I also cover it up with the Vinyl cover to keep the sun and weather off of it.. I would recommend everyone to do this..
