What Replacement Cover Parts do I Need to Replace the Cover on My Lippert Jack Model # 181794?

I have a Lci power jack Model 181794 Sn tj090701302 The discolored housing is white I believe there is a model 1817941 which is identical but with a black cover. Is the black cover available as a replacement also the lens is needed as well as all plastic plugs, thanks for your help.

Hello Marc,

For the Lippert Model 181794 you are going to want the Replacement Top Cover for Lippert Electric Trailer Jack # LC285160, Replacement Bottom Jack Cover with Light Lens # LC23UD, and for rubber plug Replacement Override Plugs # LC733924.

I am kind of shocked on the pricing for replacing the cover. I suggest getting a new jack instead, our etrailer Electric Trailer Jack # e23ZV would be an excellent replacement as it is rated for 3,500 pounds with an 18" lift just like your current model. This jack has a limited lifetime warranty (only one we carry with that kind of warranty), and you will even get a nice cover for the jack so you don't have to worry about fading. Not to mention that you can buy this jack for less than piecing together the cover for your current one. I am all about fixing what I have as well, but this just seems like the better option.

I attached some review videos of our jack, please let me know what you think about it.

Hey Geoff! How do you like it so far? The wire on the #e23ZV is 12 gauge. You can add a fuse if you want but it isn't necessary since the jack has a 20A automatic reset fuse built in already. If you want to add one I would make it the same 20A.

Hello Brian, thanks for reaching out. That would be fine. There is really no need for a cut-off switch here but there is no reason why you can't use one. As long as the jack is connected to a 12v power source, it will operate as intended.
