Question:
I have a 2012 Chvey Silverado LT with chrome caps. I noticed that you recommend either the CIPA part # 11650 or K-Source Universal Mirror, part # KS3990. My question is, can I replace the chrome cap with Evan Fischer Textured Black cap and then use either the # CM10900 or the K-Source # KS80900?

Expert Reply:
Yes, If you replace the chrome caps on your 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the black plastic caps you mentioned then both the CIPA # CM10900 and K-Source # KS80900 will work.
Between these two I personally like the K-source as I seem to see better feedback from customers, though really they are very similar.
