I have a 2008 Chev. Silverado 1500. Will the mirrors fit my truck. I have the automatic in and out mirrors. Are the mirrors glass or what kind material ?

I have an option that will work for you, but the custom-fit snap-on style mirrors like part # KS80900, will not fit the telescoping mirrors on your 2008 Chevrolet Silverado.
Instead, I recommend looking at a door mounted mirror like part # 11650. This mirror does not attach to the sideview mirrors on your truck, so they will not interfere with their movement. I have attached a demonstration video for you to check out. The mirror is flat glass.
Another option that you may be able to use is a clip-on style mirror like the K-Source Clip-On Mirror, # KS3891. This mirror will grip the mirror housing and uses straps that wrap around the back of the mirror to hold the towing mirror in place. We know this mirror will fit the standard mirrors on the 07-13 Chevy trucks (see video), but you will want to measure your mirrors if they are not the same shape to make sure that this type of towing mirror will fit. This towing mirror will fit mirros from 4-1/2 inches tall to 11-1/2 inches tall.
