Features to know about

Built for Real Work: Square Design Holds Strong Under Load

The square-tube build on this 3,000 lb jack isn’t just for looks—it gives it more side-load support than a round-tube jack. That extra strength matters when you’re pushing or pulling the trailer by hand or when the ground isn’t perfectly level. The welded-on footplate spreads the weight out so it won’t sink into soft ground, and the 5,000 lb support capacity keeps your setup steady when parked or loading.

Quick Storage and Hookups: Swivel Pipe Mount Makes Setups Easier

When it’s time to hit the road, the tubular swivel design lets you pivot the jack up out of the way in seconds. Pull the pin, twist the jack, and it locks right into the travel position. The pin stays tethered with a built-in lanyard so it doesn’t get lost in the dirt. With a retracted height of 14-7/8" and an extended height of 30-3/8", you get a full 15-1/2" of lift for easy hitching and leveling.

Simple, Tough Design: Weld-On Mount and Topwind Handle

Once it’s welded on, this jack becomes part of the trailer. The pipe mount gives you a strong, permanent setup that won’t twist or loosen over time. The topwind handle has a red claw grip that makes cranking comfortable and easy, even when you’re wearing gloves. The 9-1/2" handle radius gives you good leverage for smooth lifting.

Ready for the Elements: Coated Steel Fights Rust and Corrosion

Out on the job or stored outside, this jack can take the weather. The outer tube is black painted for protection, while the inner tube and footplate are zinc-finished to resist rust. A built-in grease zerk makes it easy to keep everything moving smoothly with a few pumps of grease. This is a jack built to keep working season after season.

Video Transcript for Comprehensive Review: Square Pipe Mount Swivel Jack w/ Footplate

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Square Pipe Mount Swivel Jack with the included Footplate. This utility jack is going to let you raise and lower your trailer. It's going to have a lift capacity of 3,000 pounds and a support capacity of 5,000 pounds. This does feature the tubular swivel design, that's going to let you swing the jack up along the trailer frame for a nice storage design or in travel. Or you can break it back down to a usable position when you're ready to use the jack. It does come with the pull pin, that's going to hold the jack in either one of those position.

It's going to have the chain lanyard that's going to connect the pin to the jack so you don't have to worry about misplacing that or losing it. It's going to come with the weld-on pipe mount. This is included, its got an outer diameter of 2", so outer edge to outer edge is 2". This is the piece that gets welded on to the frame of your trailer. Its got four holes in it, those holes match up with the holes going around the pipe attached to the jack. That way these two pieces can or that jack can rotate on the welded arm piece to move to the stowed position or back down for use.

Then very simple to re-secure it, and whatever position you want, just do that by reinstalling the pin. The square jack is going to provides more side-load capacity when compared to round-tube jacks. This one's going to feature a nice topwind handle. It's got a very easy to use comfortable claw grip. It allows for easy cranking.

One of the neat things I like about this jack is that the handle can actually be rotated over or flipped over to a stowed position. That's a nice design of this handle mechanism. Now, when we take a measurement of the handle radius. I'm going to take a measurement from the center of where it mounts to the outer edge of the hand grip, or to that claw grip. That's going to give us a measurement of about 9 1/2", so handle radius is 9 1/2". I'm just going to go and use it a little bit, that way you can see just how easy the jack is to use when it comes to raising and lowering.

It's got a nice consistent design. It feels very smooth, I don't feel any kinking or binding. Pretty consistent, seamless operation when it comes to raising and lowering the jack. Now, the jack is going to be made from a steel construction, so the outer tube is going to have a really nice black powder coat finish on it to resist rust and corrosion. The inner tube as well as the footplate's going to have a clear zinc finish on it. That's going to be highly resistant for rust and corrosion as well. The footplate is going to be welded to the bottom of the inner tube. The footplate is going to give us an overall length measurement of about 7 1/2". The overall width measurement of about right around 3 7/8". That's a really nice size for this jack. It's going to do a great job at spreading out the applied weight. Especially on softer ground to prevent sinking, and it's also going to increase overall stability. Now, maintenance is also very simple with this jack. We have a built-in grease zerk fitting. That way you can attach your grease gun, pump the grease in and that's going to lubricate the internal components. Few other measurements I want to give you. I want to take a look at the bracket height. That's going to be measuring from the bottom of the footplate to the center of that weld-on pipe. With it as low as it will go, so this is the fully retracted position. That measurement is going to give us a measurement of about 14 7/8". Now, when we did that measurement with the jack fully extended, that increased to 30 3/8" or 30 3/8". That's going to give this jack a travel or a total lift of about 13 1/2". The outer tube on the jack is a square design, so that's going to measure 2 1/4 x 2 1/4". The inner tube is also a square design, so that's going to measure 2" x 2". That's going to do it for today's look at the Square Pipe Mount Swivel Jack with the included Footplate. Again, it's going to have a lift capacity of 3,000 pounds and a support capacity of 5,000 pounds.

Did one on each side of tilt deck to hold in place while loading and unloading vehicles with the winch to keep tension on the cable. They seem really stable only time will tell it's a commercial trailer so if one fails they're easy to replace.

Was having issues with the trailer lifting the backend of my truck when I loaded tractors. When I would drive the tractor on the back of the trailer would go down from the weight on the rear which caused the front of the trailer to lift the backend of my truck. So, I bought a couple of the Square, Pipe Mount, Swivel Jacks with Footplates and a Drop Leg. They are Topwind, 7K, Jacks. I had them welded on. This should stop the issue I'm having. I know the 7K was a little over kill but the price was great.

One year on jack is still working great. No problems after heavy use.

Bought the jack for a very heavy no till grain drill. Jack was well built and handled the tongue weight fine
by:
Came as described. Only thing I’m I didn’t like is the slip it has. I think it needs a tensioning screw in the back like I have on a weight distribution hitch i own. Didn’t receive one with this product.
by:
Very good quality, heavy duty. This replaced a much lighter duty jack on a batwing mower that was OEM and failed (bent).

Just what I wanted to make my trailer safer when loading. Thanks
by:
So far been holding up very well. Used as a tongue jack on some hopper bottom pup trailers and these jacks give us the reach to be able to unhook them from the pintle without need to hunt around for wood blocks to place under the jack.
by:
Great product shipped quickly and super service.
by:
Much higher quality than the original.

I am happy with the jacks. Good, solid and well made. Just as advertised. I mounted these on an equipment trailer. 32" from the rear, on both sides was the best location on my trailer. The trailer needed the extra support during loading and unloading, to stop it from rearing up in the front. They worked very well and solved my problem. I would recommend them to others.
