Today we're going to be taking a look at a replacement drop leg with a footplate for square trailer jacks. This is going to replace the drop leg and foot from your etrailer Ram Square direct-weld jack with a 3,000 pound capacity. This is designed for use with the TJD-5000 series jacks and it can be used for other applications as well. It's made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a durable zinc finish so it's going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. The tubing is going to give us a measurement, outer edge to outer edge, that's going to measure about one and three-quarters of an inch.
It's a square design, so one and three-quarter by one and three-quarter. Drop legs are designed to slide into the inner tube of the jack and secure with a pin and clip. Here on the bottom you can see that the footplate is welded onto the base of the drop leg. The footplate is going to give us a length measurement of about seven and a half inches, and a width measurement of about three and three-quarters of an inch. This is going to do a great job at spreading out the applied weight, even on softer ground to help prevent sinking. It's also going to help increase overall stability.
The drop leg is going to offer an additional thirteen and a half inches of travel. That can be adjusted at about three and three-eighth inch increments. We can tell that by taking a measurement between the two holes right here, so center on center, outer hole to outer hole. That's going to give us a measurement of about thirteen and a half inches, so that's going to tell us how much travel this drop leg offers. The distance between each hole, center on center, is going to measure pretty close to three and three-eighths inch, or excuse me, three and three-eighths of an inch, so that's the incremental height adjustment that the drop leg's going to offer. The pinhole diameter's going to measure five-eighths of an inch, and then we'll go ahead and take a look at the overall height.
Measuring from the bottom of the foot to the top of the tube, that's going to give us a measurement of about seventeen and a half inches. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement drop leg with the included footplate for square trailer jacks.

Designed for TJD-5000 Series jacks.George, after trying to replace this lost jacketstand from the Dealer who sold me my PJ Trailer with no satisfaction, I went out to their parking lot where I could get good internet access and ordered the replacement jacketstand in a few minutes from E.trailer
Purchased for my FULTON 2500lb tongue jack as a replacement. Fit perfect, I did have to clear out the pin holes with a 5/8 drill bit as the factory holes appeared to have some burrs but that just took a minute. Perfect replacement.
Great replacement! Fit perfect and no signs of rust after a year. Make sure to use a stainless steel adjustment pin if you are around saltwater.

Fits perfect, great price, quick delivery! Thank you.
I talked to one of your sales and evidently mis matched my part. My drop leg has holes on the side of the unit, the one i received looks like this picture that I am just now seeing. I have a fulton, he told me it would work. I guess it will but now I have to go by a large drill bit and drill the holes on the sides of the leg.... Should have had him send me a picture.....

We do not carry any replacement legs with holes on the side. Although, this is 1.75 x 1.75 inch tubing on either side. I would not recommend drilling new holes as it may effect the weight capacity.
