Lets Go Aero Hitch Locks - 63232

This anti-rattle hitch pin dramatically reduces any movement or vibration of your ball mount in your hitch. Included lock ensures security for your hitch accessory. Designed for use on hollow-shank ball mounts and accessories. 5/8" Pin diameter.

Features:

  • Trailer hitch receiver lock is used in place of standard pin and clip to prevent theft of ball mount or hitch-mounted accessory
    • Secure your bike rack, cargo carrier, hitch cover, and more to your trailer hitch
  • Anti-rattle pin reduces play and vibration in the hitch connection
    • Place block with spring inside shank of ball mount or hitch accessory
    • Slide ball mount or accessory into hitch receiver
    • Insert pin through hitch pin hole and anti-rattle block with spring
    • Twist pin with included wrench so ball mount or accessory is pulled tight against side of hitch receiver wall
  • 90 Degree, barrel-style lock comes with 2 round, rubber-coated keys
    • Weather-resistant rubber dust cap keeps cylinder free of debris
  • Zinc finish is corrosion resistant
  • Sturdy steel construction

Specs:

  • Application: 2" x 2" trailer hitch receivers
    • Ball mount or hitch accessory must have a hollow shank
  • Pin diameter: 5/8"
  • Inside pin length (span): 2-5/8"
  • Overall length: 5-1/2"
  • 30-Day warranty

Notes:

  • This lock will not work with some factory 2" trailer hitches that have an outside width wider than 2-5/8". If a longer pin length is needed, see hitch lock SHP2040-XL
  • This device can only be used with hollow-shank ball mounts and hitch accessories.

The Silent Hitch Pin from Let's Go Aero takes the rattle and play out of the connection between your trailer hitch and your ball mount or hitch accessory. The unique design features a sturdy steel block with an attached spring that sits inside the shank of your hitch-mounted accessory.

Silent Hitch Pin DiagramSilent Hitch Pin Close Up

Place the block inside your ball mount or hitch accessory, and line up the hole in the block with the pin hole in your ball mount. Slide your ball mount into your hitch and insert the hitch pin. To activate the anti-rattle device, just twist the pin with the included wrench to tighten it down. Doing this will pull the accessory up against the wall of your hitch receiver, thus keeping the accessory from moving around inside your hitch. No more annoying clanking or vibrating.

The 90 degree, barrel-style lock goes on the end of the anti-rattle pin to provide security for your hitch-mounted accessories. Two round, rubber-coated keys are included with the lock. A sturdy rubber dust cap comes attached to the barrel lock so that you can easily cover the lock cylinder, thus ensuring that no dirt or grime will get in to damage the lock.

Video Transcript for Lets Go Aero Anti-Rattle Hitch Receiver Lock Review

Today, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Lutzco Arrow anti-rattle trailer hitch receiver lock for 2 inch hitches. Using this set up, will eliminate any play you may have in your connection point. So, that's really going to help with any vibration or excessive noise you might have. Another benefit, it's also going to be a locking hitch pin. So, that's going to keep whatever hitch mounted accessory you might have attached to your vehicle and safe. Now, it comes with 2 matching keys.

That way your lock can easily be removed and reinstalled. Now, what I really like about this one compared to some of the others is how it actually eliminates the vibration. Some styles, actually just push the shank over to the inside part of the receiver tube to get the job done. This one however, uses that block inside of the shank and when you tighten the bolt, it actually draws it together as opposed to forcing it.So, this is going to work with 2 inch by 2 inch receiver and a 5/8 pin diameter. Now, the overall length of the bolt and lock is 5 and 1/2 inches and the shank that you're using it on must be hollow for it to work. So, it's made from a sturdy steel construction and is zinc coated, that way it'll resist any type of corrosion.

Now the lock here, has a rubberized dust cover and that'll help keep any debris or contaminants out of the key way. We'll take it out on our test course and show you the difference between before and after. At first, we're going to go down our test course without the Lutzco Arrow anti-rattle bolt. First, we're going to come to some bumps. So, you go over the bumps, you can see what it's like driving on rough terrain, hitting potholes or pulling in and out of driveways. You'll notice how much the cargo carrier is moving up and down and causing rattling and banging noises.

As we go further down our test course, as we do some invasive maneuvers, you can see how much the cargo carrier is moving side to side, tilting and swaying. The swaying also creates noise and makes for an unstable condition for our cargo that we may have in our carrier. Now with it installed, as we go over the bumps, you can see how little the cargo carrier is moving up and down. The movement's gone and so is the noise. As we go further down the test course and hit our invasive maneuvering section, you'll also notice that the swaying of the cargo carrier, moving side to side, is gone and is much more secure. Now that we've gone over some of the features, I'll show you how easy it is to get it installed. Just remove your dust cap, take your included key and remove the lock.

Set that to the side and we're going to unscrew this block and spring assembly. This sleeve, we'll set that to the side as well. So, what we're going to do, we're going to put this block and spring inside of the shank and line up the pin holes with the hole on the block and the spring. We're just going to slide that in, compress the spring down, just push it in and get it close. What I kind of like to do, is take the actual pin, just kind of push it through and that'll just help align it. So, now that we have that inserted, we can go ahead and put our shank into our receiver tube opening. So now, we can put our accessory into the receiver tube opening and we're going to line the holes up, where the pin will go. So now, we're going to install our bolt on the side of the shank where the block is. So, the block is on this side and we're going to go ahead and slide that through. And, once you've got it lined up, you can start threading it into the block. Now, we can take our sleeve and put that over the bolt, into the receiver tube like so and then take our lock and push it on.And finally, with a 5/8 wrench, you'll go ahead and tighten up that bolt till it gets nice and tight and removes all of the play out of our connection point. And finally, we can use a torque wrench to tighten it down to the specification found in the instructions. And, that'll complete our look at and installation of the Lutzco Arrow anti-rattle trailer hitch receiver lock for 2 inch hitches.

I bought this to lock up a hitch extension to a hitch extension that I didn't want to be stolen. Many thanks to eTrailer for helping me out on this. I had originally ordered a hitch lock that was not compatible with my setup. Customer Service emailed me before shipping the order, and I was able to change the order before buying the wrong item. The lock comes with two keys, and the anti-rattle mechanism works well. After installation, there is NO side to side movement between the extension and the hitch. I did notice a slight amount of up and down movement, but I installed a quiet hitch in conjunction with this item, which eliminated all movement entirely. It's a solid device for the money. I did not give it top marks, because of the slight up and down movement. Don't let that stop you, though. I'm just really picky. 10533

Installed the nut and finger treaded the bolt into the assembly and nut. Once finger tight used the wench to tighten it all up. Upon removal I was unable to loosen the bolt with the wench. Working the bolt with a socket wrench I was able to get the bolt out but treads on both the bolt and the nut are damaged. I'm amazed that this big bolt and nut could be stripped so easily. 177408

Great product. I had ordered the 2"x2" Class III Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver for my 2018 Mazda CX-5 from eTrailer, item # 76138, which installed perfectly thanks t the excellent installation video on eTrailer's web site, but only to to find out that my bike rack is designed for a 1-1/4"x1-1/4" hitch receiver. I then ordered the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches from eTrailer, item # 63232, plus the Hitch Adapter 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver - 7" Long from eTrailer.com, item # 80300, after consulting with an eTrailer customer representative, who BTW was very helpful. The installation of the lock and adapter was a breeze, thanks again to the excellent video on eTrailer's web site, and the whole assembly is extremely sturdy with all rattling sounds eliminated. I would say that the products so far have been every penny worth. 496002

The product accomplished exactly what I wished it would: it securely locks the adapter to the hitch, while reducing the sway. I used this product to secure and to lock a 1.25" Thule 4-bike rack and adapter to a 2 inch hitch. [there is no 1.25" hitch for my vehicle, so I had to get a 2" hitch and adapter]. The etrailer representatives were extremely knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me to purchase the exact product to serve my needs. Great service, fast delivery, low prices, quality products. This company is top notch all around. 437698

Product came as advertised and easy to assemble. Researched several different hitch cargo carriers and decided on etrailer model was the most preferred for my family. Package arrived with no damage to product and took 10 minutes to assemble. Additionally purchased the anti-rattle receiver hitch lock and am impressed with the quality and ease of use. All potential customers should review extremely helpful videos about this product. Thanks for the quick and efficient service your company provided. 310904

The product I ordered is wonderful. Lightweight and is large enough to carry my scuba tanks and wet gear which I had NO intention of placing in my new Infiniti. It arrived quickly and took about 40 minutes by myself to put together. Customer service answered all my questions and the whole transaction was painless and professional. if I ever need another trailer, etrailer is the place I will purchase from. 501435

I selected the 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier (#C18153) to assist with moving students in/out of college dorms. The carrier was very easy to assemble and attach to the vehicle. I chose the anti-rattle trailer hitch receiver lock (#63232) to ensure noise was minimized when on the road - works great! I also added a cargo carrier LED light kit with mounting brackets (#98174LED, #BK70BB) and a Hopkins heavy-duty 7-way to 4-wire coiled adapter (#HM47065). As others have commented, the light kit wiring harness is not long enough to reach the vehicle plug. The coiled adapter provided a great solution. Using the eTrailer web site has taken the mystery out of finding cargo moving solutions. 372290

I purchased this for use on my 2017 VW Alltrack with an Ecohitch 2 in receiver. I have a Thule T2 Classic bike rack with a 1-1/4 inch shank and didn't want to purchase the replacement shank. I instead purchased # HT02 to allow the receiver to accept the smaller 1-1/4 and # 63232 to stabilize the rack and stop the rattle. The combination is perfect. # 63232 acts as both an anti-rattle device, as well as a hitch lock. Installation took 5 minutes and was super straightforward. Because the pin is threaded, be sure to use a torque wrench to not accidentally over-torque the pin and strip the threads or just tighten until the rattle stops. 435250

A year in and the the Lets Go Aero Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock still does its job. The only issue that Ive run into is that I am unable to remove it from my hitch. The tubular metal sleeve that fits around the lock pin seems to have rusted itself locked. I havent been able to remove it and cannot remove my hitch rack as a result.

Ryan F - 09/23/2018

If your hitch is open at the back using some WD-40 and spraying down the hitch lock and anti-rattle device as best as you can, and let it sit and try again to remove the pin. You may need to use a hammer and persuade the pin, but try not to damage the bolt head portion. If the hammer does not work you might try using an impact wrench and a socket, or a socket and a cheater bar to try to get the treads to spin free. Worst case scenario you may need to use a cut off wheel and cut down the hitch pin and then using a drill bit drill out either side to see and try to remove the stinger. Just make sure that you do not use a drill bit larger than a 5/8 inch (diameter of your hitch pin) or any kind of torch that would damage your hitch.

I'm using this to lock my bike rack to my reese hitch. This is a great locking device, very secure. I use a ratchet & socket to tighten it so there is NO Rattle or sway of the bike rack. The metal is corrosion free so far. I take it off for the winter when the salt is starting to hit the roads. It comes with 2 keys and has a nice rubber keyhole cover. I just purchased another one for my sister. I think it's worth every penny. eTrailer is very easy to order from and has great communication and customer service. 200647

This product was hard to fit into my curt hitch/curt carrier. However, once it was in, it worked like a charm. It fits so tight that it really wouldn't matter if it was a locking hitch or not. (poor attempt at a joke) I didn't have any rattling or fear that my carrier was going to be stolen. If anything, just having it gave me a peace of mind. It was incredibly easy to install. Just slip the part with the spring into whatever your mounting, slide it into the hitch, and slip the remaining parts in, screw, lock, done. Simple. The not-so-simple was attempting to put the remaining parts in with how tight a fit it was, had to loosen it a bit, then place them in. Not a big deal, and certainly not a reason to not purchase it. 218874

This is the PERFECT solution for eliminating hitch-mounted carrier movement and noise. The product is dirt-simple to install, just place and align the spring nut into the carrier's hollow shank, install the carrier, insert the pin and snug it down with the provided tool, then lock everything in place! Everything is safe and secure. No more movement. No more noise. And no chance of carrier theft. Thanks etrailer.com for a great customer experience. 81672

UPDATE : Originally posted that it was to short and could not get the lock on . I called and Ricky advised to remove the split washer to see if that would allow the lock to fit . When I tried to remove the pin , the threads must have stripped and the pin would not move . After splitting a 5/8 socket and cracking a 16 inch cheater socket bar , the shaft broke in the nut ( which is inside the receiver ) . It is spring loaded , so my wife pushed on the nut & spring from one side , protruding the shaft out the other side and I was able to cut through the shaft . This took more than 2 hours to accomplish . Unable to get in contact with Ricky again , I called the general customer service # , advised them of all of this and they are sending me return label . Upon ordering this item , I called and ask about some reviewers who had had similar problems = They advised the company had changed from coarse threads to fine threads and it was no longer a problem . They advised they were sorry this happened , but now I also need to replace a 5/8 socket and 16 inch socket bar... I do not recommend this locking anti tilt hitch pin 210038

Works great, sometime it gets jammed up during alignment and I am never quite sure how tight to screw the thing in. I prefer to use a socket wrench over the included one. Make sure to remember the order of assembling the components. The product image on the far left is actually broken down into 3 separate sub-components. 1) shaft 2) block 3) end lock cap. The block sits in the channel of whatever is being plugged into the hitch. When you insert the shaft through the holes it must be done so from the opposite side you place the block. In effect you point the spring toward the lock cap. I don't hear a rattle as we drive unless we are rolling over rough terrain, then again I drive a minivan so I don't seek out rough terrain to test noise levels. :) I would like to give a 6th star to the service rep who put me in contact with the manufacturer. I (or someone in my party) lost a key on a trip so I wanted to get another one without purchasing a new set. (FYI the replacement keys are only slightly less expensive than the unit, so be careful not to lose one) That was an above and beyond customer scenario and I appreciated the quick support!!! 399725

Just wanted to do a follow up with you in regards with an anti rattle pin I had purchased from you before the holidays. Not sure if you need my order number or not to prove it but just wanted to give some feed back. I'm happy I purchased it so I wouldn't hear any rattling. It did take more torque than what's mentioned in the instructions. I did make sure though it wasn't to much so it wouldn't break or be ruined. I should have done more research with pricing but already did research on what kind and who to use when buying so I assumed etrailer was the place to shop & buy. I did very much glad I was able to talk with you, help me out and figure out what I was looking for. Giving me a my options, not pressuring me, being so helpful making it easy to purchase and delivery. When I had no idea what I was getting into you did make it extremely comfortable, personable and customer friendly helping me out every step of the way. 466038

I learned about this product when searching for a way to eliminate the rattle and sway of my Hidden Hitch Class III 2" Ball Mount that I am using to mount my Swagman XC Tow Mount Bike Rack on the back of my RV. The recommendations at eTrailer helped me figure out exactly what to do by using this Anti-Rattle pin and lock! And, coupled with the Road Master Quiet Hitch for 2" Trailer Hitches - RM-061 - there is no sway from left or right and no up or down movement either!!! Items came quickly and work in tandem perfectly. My bikes ride solid and safe! Be sure to periodically check the bolt tightness. 158840

Before using the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock my receiver would move both sideways and up and down and sounded like the car was coming apart. I have a 2" hitch and after installing this new product I have used it four times as of this writing. My trailer is a utility 5x8 and I have hauled different items and weight and I have not heard a sound out of it. Even though it totally locks it from side to side play, I thought maybe there would be some up and down motion but for me, none at all. Very, very pleased!!!!! 110306

This ant-rattle receiver lock is one of those rare products these days that "does exactly what it says on the tin" ! It made my hitch carrier a snug fit on the receiver. Without it., there was some play and rock in the carrier ( which makes sense, it has to be a little bit loose in the receiver or you'd never get it in ! ) It was very easy to set up this hitch pin and it does a find job, well worth the money. The little wrench they give with it is a bit of a joke, I used a bigger one I had to hand to tighten it up. 293657

Comments

The anti-rattle receiver lock was excellent for the first number of uses, but it is not working so well any more. It just seems to have gotten difficult to use. The spring that goes inside the carrier stem has gotten deformed and doesnt keep the nut that goes inside the stem in place anymore. So it tends to slide around when the carrier is out of the receiver and then it is fiddly to get it back in place. Also, I cant seem to get the lock to tighten up properly so that there is no play in the carrier. Originally, it would tighten up really well and there was no play at all, now it doesnt tighten like it used to, theres always some rattle in the carrier, not much, but its not perfect.I was thinking Ill just have to get another one, because it did work so well initially.

I was disappointed in the performance of this item. Although it is a good design, and does almost completely eliminate side to side carrier movement within the receiver, I experienced the same problem that a number of other individuals experienced. That is that once tightened in place within the carrier tube when it is mounted to the receiver, the threads on the blot had cross threaded with the large nut, and no amount of force was able to unscrew the blot form the nut. Eventually I was able to get the bolt out by cutting both exposed ends of the blot with a cut-off wheel on a dremel drill (space was very limited due to the design of the factory hitch on my 2015 Wrangler) and then use a center punch to force the remaining section of bolt back into the tube, allowing the carrier tube to be removed form the receiver. I read more of the many reviews for this item, and I see that others have had this exact difficulty. I think the problem is either in the quality of the material, or in the threading process of the bolt /nut. Either way, I have decided to stay away from this design. 187849

etrailer.com shipping sucks. Every single package that I have received from etrailer.com has arrived at my house with boxes stuffed inside more boxes that do not fit properly and cause the boxes to get smooshed together. It's a miracle that the product inside the boxes were not damaged. Boxes arrive at the house with parts of the cardboard missing or peeled off or flaps ripped open or looking like an accordion. As for the product, having survived its perilous journey, it works as designed. Stops vibration, thus stopping noise. I should probably sound more thrilled, but I have never had a hitch accessory rattle on me thus I don't have a before and after comparison. I was fortunate to have found this item before installing any hitch accessories on my vehicle. Final verdict...you won't be disappointed. The wrench that comes with it is worthless. Don't bother with the included wrench. Install it using a ratchet with appropriate socket. Keep the wrench in the vehicle for emergencies. Buy it and enjoy! 170430

I installed the anti-rattle tow hitch pin as soon as I got it. It really locks the Swagman bicycle carrier in place so there is no side-to-side movement. I have not yet driven with it for any distance to see if the pin loosens up due to road vibration, but I expect that it will not. 131245

the very first time I installed this product it took 2 minutes to install and 4 hours with a hand saw to remove. It cross-threaded almost immediately, and because of the nut being internal to the hitch, you can't easily cut it off. I already broke two ratchets on this thing. There is not enough clearance for a sawzall so I have been using a small keyhole saw for the past 4 hours and still not done. Do yourself a favor and just use a half inch hex bolt and nylon locknut instead of this piece of crap. 205896

Seems to work somewhat as advertised. Side to side motion is eliminated but up and down motion is still there, although lessened. 146702

Still working the about same. Shimmed the up down and tightened the bolt to keep out more of the vibration. Lock seems a little fussy.

A bit on the pricey side, but does what it advertises. Happy with the product after using on a few camping trips. I have this cargo carrier: http://www.etrailer.com/Hitch-Cargo-Carrier/Pro-Series/63153.html. We load it down with hundreds of pounds of camping equipment and use the hitch lock to secure it from moving. We also camp in the backcountry using poor access roads at times and the lock keeps the heavy loads from shifting on uneven terrain. I would recommend this product to anyone that is using either a bike rack or cargo carrier and is trying to reduce movement of the accessory. 145780

I can only rate how easy it was to install as I won't use till late sept. but I read reviews and I will be keeping an eye on keeping the nut tight. ETRAILER shipped very fast as always. 97807

lock is working good the rattling noise is gone I still check the nut each time I hook up, I say it is a good product. The wrench is a bit weak but I replaced it with a craftsman.

I’ve used this product with my Curt adjustable ball mount and it’s been great so far. Installation was simple overall, with little issue. Once installed, it held the ball mount secure with no movement or rattles at all. Definitely a great product. 628890

After I purchased my GMC Canyon pickup, I found I had some slop in the 2" hitch receiver that made quite a bit of noise when towing my 6' x 12' trailer. I looked around on the web and found this anti-rattle hitch receiver lock. Having tried different types before, I decided to give this one a try, also. I received it in jiffy time from e-trailer and installed it. It definitely did the trick. No more rattle from the receiver when towing. It definitely works much better than the ones that you put around the neck of the receiver entrance. Thanks so much, e-trailer, for such a great product for such a decent price! And you folks out there, you really outta try one of these things. You won't be sorry. 628217

I ordered for all the right reasons. Quality, ease of ordering, etrailer presence on social media, free shipping, expedient receipt of products. In “my” haste, one of the features of my B&W trailer hitch does not work on my vehicle. My Chevy Suburban has a rear valance that wii not allow me to rotate the ball hitch underneath the vehicle. I’m very impressed with the Areo silent hitch pin. 620129

I am sending this back because it is much more work to deploy than just a pin and retainer. It would be good if we were to use the hitch for long periods, but we do not plan to do that. We would be spending too much of our brief time installing and removing this device. It appears well made. 616931

Works great and easy to install. I torqued it as suggested in the instructions and it will not budge. I am extremely satisfied and feel safe leaving it connected. Even thought it says it's hasn't been rated for drop hitch 4flat towing, I feel it will handle the job. 616754

The shaft is way too big so I haven’t been able to use so still in original package. Otherwise an excellent product 609185

Comments

This particular lock is designed for an accessory thats compatible with a 2 inch receiver hitch. Since you stated it was too big, Im guessing you have a Class I or II hitch, which uses a 1-14 inch receiver. For the 1-14 inch receiver, youd want to use something like # 63147. Keep in mind, locks of this type will only work on hitch accessories that have shanks that are hollow.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2017 Nissan Titan SV
  • For your 2017 Nissan Titan SV, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76154. This trailer hitch receiver is a strong round tube design that is easy to install. It has an integrated bracket for your trailer wiring bracket to give a really clean look and has a black powder coat finish over an e-coat base for great rust protection. For your trailer wiring, I recommend the Upgraded Modulite Vehicle Wiring Harness Kit with 4 Pole Trailer Connector (Includes Install...

  • Recommended Hitch Pin for the Carpod Walled, Folding Cargo Carrier # M2205-01-02
  • The Carpod Walled and Folding Cargo Carrier does not come with a hitch pin clip. The basic hitch pin clips that you will need is part # PC3. For added security and to help deter theft you can use the Let's Go Areo Anti-Rattle Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232. If you were wanting to add some security to your cargo carrier, I recommend using the Master Lock Padlock # ML312D for when the top is closed.

  • How to Reduce Excessive Trailer Noise (Banging/Rattling)
  • It sounds to me like the hinge pin on your trailer's tailgate is worn and is causing excessive movement which will result in a noisy ride. In order to secure the tailgate to the trailer while driving down the road I recommend using a set of ratchet straps like the Erickson Re-Tractable Ratchet Straps part # EM34415. In order to reduce movement and rattling from the ball mount inside the receiver tube you will want to use an anti-rattle hitch pin such as the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch...

  • Best Anti-Rattle Device Recommendation for a 2 inch Ball Mount
  • The most popular anti-rattle device we carry that is designed for use with a 2 inch hitch would be the part # 63232. This will install in the hollow shank of a 2 inch ball mount and will secure it to the side of your hitch so that it stop rattling. It also doubles as a hitch lock. I attached an install video for you to check out as well.

  • Best Hitch Recommendation for a 2015 Subaru Forester
  • For your 2015 Subaru Forester I would strongly recommend you go with a 2 inch hitch over a 1-1/4 inch hitch. 2 inch hitches have more capacity and have more flexibility for accessories since there are way more things designed to fit a 2 inch hitch over a 1-1/4 inch hitch. Also a 2 inch hitch will carry a cargo carrier much smoother due to it's higher capacity. There would be much less bouncing like you described. I would recommend the Draw Tite hitch part # 75876. This would be a great...

  • Lights And Accessories for Using Curt # C18153 Cargo Carrier on 2014 Chevy Suburban
  • The only difference between the two anti-rattle hitch locks you referenced is that the # 63232 is for 2 inch receivers and the # SHP2040-XL is for 2-1/2 inch receivers. Since your Suburban has the 2 inch receiver, you'd need the # 63232. If the 4 pole on your Suburban is fixed in place on the bumper, I'd recommend the # 9653P extension. The Curt # C18153 you're referring to isn't specifically designed for a light kit, so they're aren't any pre-drilled holes on the carrier to mount...

  • Anti-Rattle Device Suggestion while using a Towing Bike Rack and Pop Up Camper
  • For use while towing with your pop up camper trailer and hitch mounted towing bike rack, the best option would be to use the Anti-Rattle Device for a 2 inch hitch # 63232. This device will eliminate any additional rattling by pulling the ball mount portion of the hitch to one side. It also provides a secure locking mechanism for your hitch. Please keep in mind that this locking device can only be used on hollow hitch devices, it is also advised to remove this locking mechanism when...

  • Locking Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin for Use with a 1-1/4 Inch Hitch and 1-1/4 to 2 Inch Adapter
  • The first thing you will want to look at is the shank of the adapter. If it is hollow then you can use locking hitch pin # SHP2082 or # 63147. But if the shank is not hollow then you will need to use a regular anti-rattle device like # 93347 and lock # 5200. I must warn you that the use of an adapter reduces the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch by 50 percent. So if the combined weight of the bike rack and bikes is more than half the tongue weight capacity of the hitch you...

  • Recommended Cargo Carrier for Heavy Duty Snow Blower

If this is the case, unfortunately the # 63232 will not work for you, because the threaded block would not fit into the shank of your bike rack.
