The etrailer class 3 hitch # e38KR will indeed fit your 2024 Kia Sportage. We have confirmed with the manufacturer that it will carry over to the 2024 models. Install will be pretty easy, just 3 bolts on each side and no drilling required. You may need to trim a small section of the bumper fascia.

We do offer the Curt wiring harness # C59236 which can be used on your 2024 Sportage. This harness will require cutting and splicing of the vehicles harness. At this time (September 2023) there are not plug and play wiring options available.

I have linked a few of our install videos below if you want to take a look.

so far no one can tell me what wiring harness works for a 2024 sportage HYBRID EX --- i said HYBRID --- there is no traditional 12v battery --- it is integrated with the hybrid battery -- so not sure how to tie into a hot 12v lead--- i have looked for ways -- there is a 50 amp slot in the fuse box that says trailer -- single pin --- right now it is empty -- thanx for a solution

@Sherpa The Curt # C99DR will fit the 2024 Kia Sportage Hybrid EX as long as you have LED taillights. You cannot get power from the fuse box though. There is still a 12v connection point somewhere on the vehicle though. I am afraid I do not have an exact location for your though since we have not seen one here at our shop yet. If you cannot find it, a dealer should be able to help.

@JesseM thanx Jesse--- i have searched internet and dealer's don't seem to know -- one kia service rep says that connection would be thru tail lights which i even know can't be a hot... so go figure--- thanx

@Sherpa Gotcha. Wish I had a better answer for you here. I have heard of people trying to get power from the tail lights but we discourage this since that circuit would not always be hot. We tell these people the converter module needs its own dedicated 12v power source. Hopefully you can get ahold of the right person at a dealership that can tell you.
