Question:

Does your hitch fit a 2026 Hyundai Tucson? I need something that doesnt hang low or look terrible when installed. I dont really want to install a hitch but I need to rent a uhaul trailer. Thanks

It sure does Steve! Our etrailer item # e38KR hitch is exactly what you need for your 2026 Hyundai Tucson. This is a custom fit class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity so it'll work great with a U-Haul trailer.

Our etrailer Hitch item # e38KR is going to be the best option for both performance and appearance. The entire crosstube will be hidden behind your Tucson's rear bumper leaving only the 2" receiver exposed. This really helps with ground clearance too. The lowest part of the hitch will be 13" above the ground.

I have a 2025 Hyundai Tucson hybrid and was able to get it mounted on my car without any problems and it looks fine.

On the Tucson it was a simple 4 bolt installation. It took about 40 minutes. There is a body panel that I removed for access and I did not reinstall it. The hitch sits back so you cannot really see it. I only use it for a bike rack. With the bike rack I need a 6 inch extension to insure there is enough room to clear the lift gate with the bike.. FYI this is the second hitch I bought from e-trailer both were easy to install and worked great with the bike rack. Good luck with your project.

Ditto what Steve said below. This is my second e trailer hitch as well and it went on like a dream. I think it was 40 minutes start to finish. It looks like a factory installation and is virtually hidden from sight. If I'd had it done professionally it would have taken more time than that just to drive to and from.

2023 Tucson Plug-In Hybrid- Ditto what everyone else said. I bought the recommended etrailer Hitch item # e38KR because I wanted the cleanest looking install possible. Looks and works EXCEPTIONALLY. 13" ground clearance superior to what I had on a previous Chevy Equinox (lower riding SUV), so my bike rack doesn't scrape on minor dips (it did on the Equinox). I was able to do install "solo" by using a small hydraulic floor jack to raise it into place. Removing the required body panel EZ and no need to reinstall. The wiring kit was "plug-in-easy" - worth every penny (confirm compatibility with your Tucson's tail-light wiring system.

I have a 2024 Kia Sportage SX Prestige Hybrid and the hitch fits fine. My son actually installed it and had to remove a plastic guard that was in the way for the install.
