Hey etrailer! Looking for a hitch and whatever else I need to tow a small trailer. This will be for a 2026 Tucson. You helped me out in the past, looking forward to your response. -Chris

Hey Chris! I would be happy to help you again. For a hitch that fits your 2026 Tucson I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch # e38KR. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver and a matte black finish.

Then for wiring you can use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C28DQ. This will plug into the connection points behind your tail lights and provide you with a 4-way to power the lights on your trailer. If you need a ball mount as well check out the etrailer Adjustable 2-Ball Mount # e66PR.

Primarily U-Haul trailers. Will I need anything for the brakes? Thanks for the quick response!

@Chris you're welcome! You won't need anything additional for the brakes. They use surge brakes so more vehicles can tow them since you don't need a brake controller.
