This hitch keeps a clean look by tucking the cross tube behind the bumper so only the 1-1/4" receiver shows underneath. You get a setup that looks like it came from the factory but still works with bike racks, cargo carriers, or a small trailer. The design keeps the rear profile neat and avoids big, bulky tubes hanging down where they can catch road grime.
With a 2,000 lbs gross trailer weight rating and 300 lbs tongue weight, this Class II hitch is right for smaller jobs—like pulling a small camper, towing a light trailer, or carrying a couple of bikes. The 1-1/4" receiver opening is sized for common accessories without needing adapters. It’s a solid choice when you just need dependable strength for weekend use or everyday hauling.
The EcoHitch blends aluminum, steel, and stainless steel into a sturdy alloy that keeps weight low but strength high. That mix gives it serious durability while cutting down on corrosion risk. The black powder coat finish adds another layer of protection against rust from road salt or moisture. It’s engineered to meet SAE J684 towing safety standards so you know it’s been tested to handle real-world stress.
You can bolt this hitch straight on using the vehicle’s existing attachment points—no extra holes, no welding required. The design was built for DIY installs, so folks working in their driveway with normal tools can get it done. Once installed, it stays tucked away with a completely concealed cross tube, ready to work when you need it without changing your vehicle’s clean look.

It’s been a year now that I’ve had the hitch and I still highly recommend it. The only issue I’ve had is that the lower part of the bumper of my car leaves little room to get the hitch pin in and lock lock on. It’s not a big deal though so just expect a little fiddling with it. If I can do it you can. Also, I appreciate etrailer contacting me a year later to check on how it’s working out. Great customer service!

Oh my, I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you. We recommend using a rust resistant paint like Rustoleum to paint it. We can send you a can of paint.
