Trailer Hitch Receiver and Wiring Harness Confirmed to Fit a 2013 Mini Cooper S

Question:

I had a 2008 Mini Cooper S with the hitch C11130 installed and loved the way it fit. Will this work with my 2013 Mini Cooper S ? Your website says not confirmed fit. I do not like the other hitch you have available EH47FR that comes out just above the exhaust tips. Did the change something on the rear of the cars? Thanks

The 2011 Mini Cooper was updated with new bumpers and tail lights that will no longer allow for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11130 to fit. The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH47FR is currently the only receiver that is confirmed to fit your 2013 Mini Cooper S.

The ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT will give you a 4-way connector. This can be used when towing small trailers and allows for Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if your hitch mounted accessory impairs the view of your tail lights.
