Does Bumper Get Removed When Installing EcoHitch EH47FR On 2012 Mini Cooper?

Do you have to remove the bumper? I cant find the installation manual.

Hello Mark, thanks for reaching out. You should not need to remove the bumper to install the EcoHitch # EH47FR on a 2012 Mini Cooper. Sadly, there is not an online copy of the instructions I can send. I can tell you it will be a no drill install. You will need to temporarily loosen some of the underbody structures to get the hitch into position. Also, the exhaust must be temporarily lowered.
Keep in mind this hitch only fits models with the center mounted dual exhaust.
What do you plan to use the hitch for? Will you be installing it yourself?
