How is Ball Mount Accessed with EchoHitch that Fits 2007 Mini Cooper

Question:
I have a 2007 Mini Cooper R56 hardtop, two door. Looking at the pictures, does, the tongue and ball have to be mounted prior to installation ?? Looking at pics, I dont see how one can take the tongue off once the trailer is mounted ?

You do not have to install a ball mount at same time when installing the EcoHitch part # EH47FR but it is different with this setup. Basically you have to reach under the rear bumper and over the exhaust to install the hitch pin of a ball mount.

Hi again. I’m trying to see how this fits together. Anyway you could send me the directions to install this hitch. I do a lot of my own maintenance, and I think i can install this - even with the center dual mufflers. Also, I have both a 1 1/4 sleeve install bike rack, will i be able to use this. And finally, which wiring harness would i need to connect my Thule Euro rack. It is configured for a round U.S. type plug.
