Recommended Hitch for a 2014 Mini Cooper Convertible

I have a 2015 mini convertible base. The bumper has 4 bolt mount on both sides not 2. I will try to attach photos.

Hey David, you can email any pictures you have to the address you receive this response from. I checked with our vendors and if you have the base model 2014 Mini Cooper convertible that is not an S Series or John Cooper Works, you'll need the EcoHitch item # 306-X7290. This hitch has two vertical mounting holes on each side that attaches behind your rear bumper.
We actually installed the item # 306-X7290 hitch on a 2014 Mini Cooper Hardtop, which this hitch is also designed for. I have attached the video below along with a picture. If you skip ahead to the 7:50 mark you'll see where the bumper brace is removed.
Additionally, the EcoHitch item # EH47FR you were looking at does not fit the base model of the 2014 Mini Cooper convertible. It only fits the John Cooper Works and S Series.
I saw you entered into our fitguide a 2014 Mini Clubman. Is this the model you have? I don't know if they make convertibles for this model but the Curt Hitch item # C11387 that fits it has a 4 bolt mounting bracket on each side of the hitch.
