I want to put a hitch on my 2020 Ford Ranger, what tools do I need, and is this something I can do at home?

Putting a hitch on your 2020 Ford Ranger is something that you can do at home, it's very straight forward and only requires a few tools. A 21mm socket (a ratchet or impact tor drive it), a clamp, and a torque wrench.
The hitches available for your Ranger are going to use the factory hardware and existing mounting holes is the frame to attach, no drilling or cutting at all. I do suggest that you have someone help you lift the hitch in place and get the hardware started so it's not as cumbersome.
