I have a 2023 Ford Ranger and I would like to add a hitch to it. Is there one available?

The best hitch for your 2023 Ford Ranger is going to be the Curt Hitch item # C13417. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Ranger with included hardware.

I really like the Curt hitch because it installs behind your rear bumper and the crossbar is completely hidden. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 6,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 900 lbs maximum tongue weight. That can be increased to 8,000 lbs when used with a weight distribution system.

I have linked a couple of pictures below along with an installation video so you can see what this hitch looks like when installed.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56431 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.

@John It sure can. The Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin for 2" Trailer Hitches item # SHP2061 will definitely work on a 2" hitch. Your accessory or ball mount will need to have what's called a hollow shank to work though. If you have a solid shank you'll need to use the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar for 2" Hitch Receivers item # e38FV. This wraps around the collar of your hitch and immobilizes the shank inside the receiver.
