Recommended Hitch for a 2023 Ford Ranger

The best hitch for your 2023 Ford Ranger is going to be the etrailer Hitch item # e63ZR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Ranger with included hardware.
I really like the etrailer hitch because it installs behind your rear bumper and the crossbar is completely hidden. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 6,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 900 lbs maximum tongue weight. That can be increased to 8,000 lbs when used with a weight distribution system.
I have linked a couple of pictures below along with an installation video so you can see what this hitch looks like when installed.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56431 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
