Question:

I mounted a ball on the bumper of my truck for towing my trailer, however, when I hook the trailer up it is too high so I need to have something to mount in place of the ball to lower where the trailer hooks to the truck

I have a different style of hitch option for you, but that's the bad thing about mounting a hitch ball to the bumper, it is what is and there's no adjusting the rise or drop.

The best option is installing a standard trailer hitch receiver on to your 2019 Ford Ranger with the Curt # C13417. Using this option will allow you to use a ball mount to adjust the rise/drop as needed to match the trailer you're towing.

A kit like the # 989900 includes two different sized ball mounts and hitch balls so you should be able to get most trailers out there level one way or another.
