Really haven't tested this hitch yet but it was very easy it install. Took 20 min or so would use thus site again
This was still an easy install. I had miss understood and removed the rear frame bar, witch was not necessary. Made it easier to fish bolts?
The hitch fit perfectly. I would suggest having a buddy help you line up and hold the hitch in place.

This is the second hitch that I have purchased from Etrailer. The product is very good but the most important is the price and service. They have the best pricing on the net and the products ship right out. I placed my order on Tuesday and recieved it on Friday.
Would have got Excellent but during shipment some one dropped and scratched a 2 inch square area of the powder-coat.
Lets talk about the ease of installing, first watch the video's on line, instruction sent with box not the best unless you have seen video. I installed by myself with the use of a motorcycle jack to hold in place this was done in less than an hour.
Nothing but great things to say about etrailer, they shipped my hitch out very quickly. I had issues with UPS trying to actually get my hands on the delivery, but that has nothing to do with etrailer at all, so I'm very happy with their end of it and would not hesitate to make another purchase from them!

Love my new hitch. I went to a hitch shop and they installed a cheaper style hitch. I had them take it off and ordered one from etrailer. The hitch arrived in two days. It only took me 35 min to install. Thanks etrailer!!
Fish Wire Bolts on 2 different planes (2 vertical 2 horizontal) was a real dastardly design. I do not like how the hitch bolts to the frame at an angle, not flat against it.
That all being said, shipping was speedy, lowest price on the net, and the Curt hitch appears to be a substantial and beautifully coated piece.
I found this hitch receiver to be very well made. The finish on it was done well. I did find that the mounting instructions were somewhat vague however. I would suggest watching the video on etrailer's website on how where to put the fish wires through the frame. The instructions pictures did not show this well. I also found the hole placement to be slightly off. I had difficulty getting the M-14 (truck frame) bolts back in. I had to use a pry bar to spread and hold the hitch in place to get them started. Even with that said I feel this is a very good looking and sturdy hitch that will give me years of trouble free towing.
