This hitch gives you a solid connection point for towing small campers, boats, or utility trailers. With a 6,000 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 600 lbs tongue weight, it’s built to handle light to moderate towing. When used with a weight distribution system, capacity increases to 10,000 lbs GTW and 1,000 lbs tongue weight. The 2" x 2" receiver opening fits the most common ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers, so you can easily bring extra gear along.
The 2" receiver works perfectly with popular swing-away and hanging style bike racks, letting you carry up to four bikes while still being able to access your rear doors. Platform cargo trays and storage baskets also slide right in. It’s a simple way to add more hauling options without any adapters or special mounts.
This fully welded hitch bolts directly to the frame with no welding required. The holes line up for a straightforward install using standard tools, and the complete hardware kit and instructions are included. Many DIYers mount it in their driveway or garage without needing a lift.
The sturdy square-tube steel design is protected by a gloss black powder coat finish over a base layer for excellent rust resistance. Precision robotic welding keeps the structure strong and consistent, so the hitch stays secure even after years of towing and weather exposure.

WOW! I read instructions saying took 10 mins to install and laughed. But it actually took ten minutes by my self I was delighted and what a fit. My wife was shocked because I had one installed and what they charged me. This complete package was 1/3 of what hitch install company charges for 10 mins on hitch and 10 on wire connector kit. Good luck hope your experience is as good as mine.

The website was very helpful so I could see what was needed to install the trailer hitch assembly onto the vehicle prior to ordering.
I checked my vehicle after reviewing the website videos and they matched.
The installation went well. I used a floor jack (on one side) and a bucket with a couple of short 2 x 4's (on the other side) to make a stand since I installed it by myself.
Instructions were very clear and indicated the torquing requirements for the bolts.
The vehicle now has a hitch to pull a trailer.
I took my time but completed the installation in 2 hours. This included setting up, taking photos (they are on that camera), coffee, ... and putting stuff away.
Very Happy with the hitch. Good quality easy installation less than 30 min. 6 bolts went right in cranked em tight walked away with a smile
My etrailer hitche is everything that I thought it would be it really solve the problem of having to try and figure out how to get a trailer from one place to the next it was so easy to install took about 1 hour no I'm set for the next five years at least
Needed a Receiver Hitch for my 1997 Express Van. I called the order in on Friday. (It wasn't an overseas call center which I will not deal with.) Was delivered to my door on Monday. ( 3 days).Was a Curtis Hitch, and couldn't have been a better fit. No-Drill, and fit perfectly. The wiring kit I ordered was also a perfect fit. It took me about a hour to bolt it up and put the wiring kit in. And I was going down the road with a trailer on the back. I honestly couldn't come up with reason NOT to buy from this company. No matter how hard I tried!! They definetly have me as a return customer. Geat job E-trailer. Don't change anything. Your perfect the way you are!!

I do NOT work for e-Trailer (unlike some other places' commenters that I ALMOST fell for... Read ALL the other vendor's comments to get their REAL story!).
I searched (a lot) in stores, dealers, trailer outlets, and on-line. e-Trailer was the best in price, sales (very knowledgable), support (exceptional on-line installation video and documentation), and follow-up (my sales rep - Ian W - contacted me about shipping, install support, and post-install satisfaction... Great customer service!!!!).
The hardware was all Grade 8!!! Be sure to check what "others" are providing in the quality of their products BEFORE you buy!!! e-Trailer sales only industry-recognized, top quality products. The steel, welding, finish and hardware are all superior quality. Their sales, support and pricing easily beats the competition. And the product fits as it's supposed to! And the shipping time can't be beat. The product was in stock - not back-ordered from another distributor! (Ask the competition about guaranteed shipping dates BEFORE you order!!!) e-Trailer had my product to me within days... Not weeks!
I'm limited to this 5-star rating system, but e-Trailer deserves much more.
PLEASE - take it from a guy that uses his vehicle for work and recreation... Don't waste your time trying to make the other guy's products (barely) fit. Avoid the hassle of dealing with the other guy's single owner/sales/service/shipping/customer service person that's shipping third-party products out of his garage (yup - his 10 year old son answered the phone when I called to ask questions about fitment and features).
Understand I have nothing against the mom and pop shops, I'm one too! But don't fall for the bait and switch guys, or the third-party distributors. Order from e-Trailer to enjoy real, knowledgable customer service and support, get quality products at great prices, and avoid the hassles and delays the "discount/wholesale" guys offer.

Product was easy to install. Looks great. Kinda annoyed that you guys put the etrailer sticker on upside down. Now I am gonna have to remove it. I would have let it stay to help with some name recognition. But since you didn’t take the time to make it to right, I have to take time to scrap it off.

Got everything Ready dropped the bolts through the framework as instructed lifted up Hitch ,Bolted it on Tightly as Required. I'm beginning by giving the hitch a stellar rating and, in the spirit of full disclosure, will state That I haven't even used it yet. In fact it has been only 2 hours since I installed it on my 2010 Chevy Express van. I intend to go to the DMV on Monday and get the tags for my trailer and later in the week will get my Hopkins wiring kit and on the following day will take it on a fishing trip. At that time I could write another review. I will say however I was very impressed with the quality and workmanship of the hitch itself. I have no doubt that it is strong enough to pull a far heavier load than my canoe and I also feel that premature rusting will not be a factor.
