We can help you with replacement hitch installation hardware for the hitch on your 1997 Chevrolet Express Van.
All you need to do is find the hitch brand name and part number of the hitch. If you have the Curt # 13040, which is one of many different sizes and classes of hitches offered for your van, then you'll enter the part # RHK into our search box and hit enter. Then you'll type the hitch item number in the field provided and select the manufacturer name from the drop-down menu.
We can then send you a complete installation kit with all new bolts, nuts, washers, etc to re-install your hitch. Hitch hardware CANNOT be re-used so you are smart to order new hardware for your installation.
I have linked two helpful articles on hitch installation as well as a video for hitch # 82580.
