Question:

Hay! Great site. Alot of ppl who offer parts for these have them on a different vehicle and some horrible generic pictures, in this day and age? Really? So i was really impressed with the curt rear tow hitch pictures for the express and i might be getting one of those. Anyways, i have this huge front steel crash bar i want to use but it weighs about 175 lbs and causes sag and camber issues. Probly about an inch, and the truck naturally has that stink bug stance to begin with ya know? The suspension on these trucks is very hard and you feel every bump, i only haul 1k lbs, my buddy recommended some stiffer front springs but i think that would be too hard of a ride. Another option i thought of was some spring spacers, but that involves alot of labor cost. Can you please tell me what these would be like and what my other options are for this project? I understand these are designed for plows?

The Timbren Vehicle Suspension, part # TGMFK15A is not designed to make the ride softer on your 2014 Chevrolet Express van. The Timbrens are designed to actually do the opposite. As more weight is added to the van, they become more rigid. They will help with the sag but not make the van ride easier. Putting stiffer springs on the van as your friend suggested would only make the ride more rigid.

The spring spacers like part # CSS-1168F would perform in the same manner as the Timbren springs and are designed to help reduce sag when weight is added to the vehicle. I'm sorry we do not offer a solution to help reduce the stiff ride, but the Timbrens are a good fit if you wish to help reduce sag when carrying heavy loads. The hitch I recommend for your Express van is the Curt Trailer Hitch, part # 13040. This is a Class lll hitch and requires no drilling for installation. This hitch has a 2 inch receiver opening.
