What is the distance between the center of the mounting holes from side to side for hitch #13040 ? THANKS

I went out into our warehouse and measured one of the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 13040, we have in stock and found that the set of bolt holes closest to the receiver opening measured 39-3/4 inches apart, and the set of bolts that are furthest from the receiver opening measure 40 inches apart.
