Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side interior trim panels in your cargo area. You will need to remove the trim panels to access this harness.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed in an out-of-the-way location within your cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
Tail Light Converter
A tail light converter is built into this T-One connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. The tail light converter combines the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.

This harness went directly into my 3/4 ton Chevy. It all fit perfectly, no screwing around cutting and splicing wires. Worked first try, still works perfectly after more than a year.
Though I haven't done so, one could easily remove this to install on a similar vehicle and have your original wiring intact.
Two things make this an exceptional product:
1) It fits! That's right!!! Everything fit exactly as expected and EXACTLY as the step-by-step instructions and on-line installation video showed. The connectors all matched the OEM side perfectly and the wire lengths were ideal for making it a custom tailored fit. The on-line video showed the best route for routing the wires and exactly where to mount the control module. And - eTrailer included all the necessary mounting hardware, including a mounting tab and screw, zip tie, and double-sided tape for the now hidden control module!
2) e-Trailer's price beat every brick-n-mortar, big box and on-line store!!!
With that said, KUDOS to e-Trailer (1-800-298-8924), Ian W - one of their many very knowledgable sales/support staff, and their management team for putting together an exception line of products and the team to support them!!! Too bad the rating only goes up to 5 stars... I would have given the a 7 out of 5!!!
The Product worked as advertised. They are truly Plug and Play. e trailer is my go to for all things trailer.
The customer wanted a lighting harness that was NOT cut and splice, like i haul, we haul, they haul or whoever they are. The units are installed in Chevy Express
commercial vans and the customer is very happy.
This wiring harness came with easy to follow directions, I had it hooked up in 30 minutes. It work as promised and I haven’t had any problems. I will definitely go to ETrailer for all my hauling accessorie needs.
Works great, pain to install, running the wire all the way to the fuse box without a lift is a tight task, the mounting tape is garbage, the one I received didn't stick at all. The wire length on the plug to the box was short for my vehicle, but I just mounted the box in a different place, not even close to what the directions say.
Excellent product, fast shipping, and great support. The helpful videos and information provided show how this company goes above and beyond all others with their installation support.

We sold the vehicle on which we installed the harness and hitch. Both items exceeded our expectations in both installation and usage. Health and financial matters have taken priority at this time... but we hope to return to following our dream of travel soon. At that time, we will definitely turn to you for our tow equipment.

After spending a week looking at couple auto part stores a trailer connector for may work van 2001 GMC Savana, no one has it. One auto service told me that they need to check out wire by wire and take a time. Uhaul may do it but expensive. I jumped on Internet and found the T-One 118377 Wiring Harness from Etrailer.com, cost less than $40.00. It took me only 10 minutes to finish the job. I am really happy with Etrailer super fast service/shipment and very clear instruction. It is excellent place to shop when you need help.
As usual, Etrailer has exactly what I needed. The connector fits the factor harness perfectly. Easy to install.
This wiring kit is well worth the money. It was very simple to install and pluged right in to the trailer brake wiring kit they sell, which was also worth the money.
