i want to install a 7 pole connector on my 2000 chevy express 3500 but i dont know how to do it. could you explane how to do it

To hard wire your 2000 Chevy Express Van with a 7-Pole connection, first, you will need Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 118377. I have included a link to the instructions below. Basically, you plug in this wiring harness into a taillight connection and run the wires where needed (to the other taillight and then to the rear of the vehicle). With that installed, you will then add Brake Controller 7 and 4 Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7, which will provide you with the 7 pole connection and a 4 flat connection at the rear of the vehicle. This kit is necessary to prodive the connections to the vehicle needed by the 7-Way. I have included two videos showing installation of an ETBC7 harness. I have also included an FAQ on brake controller wiring from scratch that may prove helpful.
