The wiring harness you mentioned, part # C58345 is 60 inches or 5 feet long.
Rather than using the quick connectors provided with the kit I'd recommend soldering the connections and sealing the connection with heat shrink tubing like # DW05452. If you don't solder, we carry heat shrink butt connectors that are almost as good, part # DW05744-5
