Question:
I have the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles Item HM56200 installed on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler. I need to install the Curt 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector for the lighting on my bike rack. Green, Brown and White wires are obvious but where do I need to connect the yellow wire into the hopkins to get the left brake and turn signal lights to work?

Hi Wayne,
You would need to use a tester # PTW2993 to probe into the wires for the left side of the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # HM56200 and determine which one has power when the turn signal or brake light are on. I would install diodes # RM-690 to prevent any feedback from the Curt # C58345 to the Hopkins wire harness.
