Is Anti-Rattle Device Needed for Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender

2022 Ford Maverick Hi, I see that there is a bracket held on by ubolts. I am looking for something that can be quickly removed and requires no hand tools. Does that bracket HAVE to be installed, or is it one of those things where you dont have to, but you absolutely should? Thanks!

The anti-rattle bracket that comes with the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender # MPG907 isn't a necessity but it is good to have as it reduces the amount of movement you'll see with the extender so I definitely recommend using it.
You can also swap it out for a tool-free anti-rattle device like the Curt # C27UR or Brophy # RHSB to help speed things up.
