The tire on this assembly has a 1-year worry-free guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way, it will be replaced at no charge.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this Kenda Karrier ST205/75R15 Load Range C Radial Trailer Tire with this 15 inch aluminum wheel with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. This tire and wheel assembly is going to be great for your RVs, campers, and trailers. This special trailer tire or ST tire has sturdy sidewalls so that it can handle heavy loads and it is created specifically for trailers and not intended for use on other vehicles. Now this radial tire is constructed with double steel belts and full nylon plies which combine for superior function and long life. This tire does feature this computer generated tread design and premier rubber compound materials giving you a superior traction in wet or dry conditions. Now as you probably know, radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway.
The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90 degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. So as a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to longer tread life and improves steering at higher speeds. Now as I mentioned at the beginning of our time together and as we have stamped in our tire, this is an ST205/75R15. The section width is 8.0 inches and the outer diameter when fully inflated is 27.3 inches.
This is a load range C tire, meaning that it has a 6 ply rating and the maximum load is 1,820 pounds at 50 psi. And this tire has a speed rating of M indicating a maximum speed of 81 miles per hour. This really attractive, durable, black, corrosion resistant aluminum wheel is clear coated on the front. And as you can see, it features this five open spoke design with the machined face on the spoke. So again, this is really a great looking wheel and the aluminum, this aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug wells and the inserts are actually pressed into the aluminum and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time.
So this is going to ensure that this wheel stays secure to your trailer hub and you're not gonna have to constantly re-torque the lug nuts. The dimensions of our wheel from bead seat to bead seat is 15 inches in diameter and 5 inches wide. And as I mentioned, this has a bolt pattern of 5 on 4-1/2 inches. And if you don't know, the first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes and the second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which the bolt holes sit. So to determine the bolt circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes as we have here you're simply going to measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first.
Now this wheel has a capacity of 2,200 pounds. The wheel stud size is 1/2 an inch by 20. The center cap is sold separately but if you decide to pick one up, you just wanna make sure that it fits the pilot diameter of 3.19 inches. And this tire and wheel assembly does meet the Department of Transportation specifications. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

They all came in an individual box which I thought was over kill considering it’s just a tire and most places would just shrink wrap it and send it on its way, but that just speaks to how etrailer feels about its customers.
The people I spoke with our wonderful, and the product is delivered fast. But there is a real issue with their supplier and that they have no control over the age of the tires. Two of my tires are a year and a half old. We are told that these tires are good for only five years, so that’s more than 20% of the life of the tire used on delivery. They offered to take back the two tires, but they would not pay for shipping. Instead of sending me an email the minute the shipment arrives asking for a review (here it is), I would think that their staff’s time would be better served in creating a better relationship with their supplier that guarantees the customer fresh tires.
Great quality, have thousands of miles on these now without a problem.
I ordered my wheels and tires online everything was just as it should be. Prompt delivery. I am very impressed with the overall experience.
These wheels look great!!! All dimensions as described, great fit bolted right up.
More wrapping to protect the tires
I should have gotten the lugs

The tires are stored in a controlled environment which keeps them from suffering from dry rot. The warranty on the tire starts from when they are purchased versus from when they are manufactured.
