Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Exactly what I ordered and they were shipped in a very reasonable amount of time. You can't imagine how hard it is to get the correct parts and supplies the first time these days at most places BUT NOT AT etrailer. The whole team must be really knowledgeable and work well together.
I thought it was sold as 8 ply but the tire states 7 ply?

We lost a tire and wheel on our tandem axle snowmobile trailer as a result of an unfortunate incident. Trailer was a 2009 model and was concerned we would not be ab le to match the existing aluminum rims. This looked correct in the photos so ordered it. Perfect match! Quality tire that we are very pleased with. Will likley end up replacing them all in next couple of years with this same tire and wheel combo.

Perfect, exactly what I ordered. Arrived promptly and in new condition as expected. The tires even had the correct sidewall specified pressure on arrival. I’ve done business with etailer before and experienced a manufacturer defect with a product and the issue was resolved and a new product sent the same day. Your outstanding customer service is what keeps me coming back. Thanks for being a customer service oriented business! The only negative to these wheels is now I need to paint my trailer to keep it from looking like crap!

Great wheels I got two of these to upgrade the tires for a 40x48 trailer. If you are looking for an update I would suggest to go with this. I wish they would have put the stickers on the back of the rims as the stickers do not come off clean.

I receive the tire and wheel package from Ups in one box. everything was packaged correctly with no damage. I replace the tires and wheels that came with my ultra tow trailer. This package is awesome the tires are about 2"wide and higher the the China bombs! We will be taking the trailer on a trip of 5000 miles later this summer I was concerned with the old tires and wheels I have no concerns with the new package. Oh they also look awesome !

Purchased two tire and wheel sets to replace a Load Star bias wheel and tire on my Peterson boat trailer prior to a long trip. The wheels appeared well made and good quality, and after riding a in the rain showed very little to no road dirt. Trip included four hours each way on interstate at 70 mph. The tires worked extremely well – less trailer wobble at speed, smoother trailering, improved handling of pot holes and road bumps, less perceived rolling resistance, less road noise, improved MPG (about 1.5 mph from prior trip), and a better trailering experience. The ordering experience from etrailer.com was excellent. The order shipped immediately. I was well informed during each step. The set was delivered neatly in a well packed box and was ahead of schedule.

Nice tires and rims!! They came in a timely manner. They were bolt on ready. (minus the dang little warning stickers that leave goop wherever they were stuck) When ordering, I paid attention to the Load Rating. Never even thought that they would be SPEED rated?!?! So, I purchased tires that are rated at 65 MPH! But they have the correct Load Rating!! So, just a heads up, don’t make my mistake. check the Load AND Speed ratings BEFORE you buy!!! etrailers updates and follow up are excellent. Since the Speed Rating was my mistake, I did not check in with Customer Service. But my guess would be, based upon current experience, Customer Service is problem just as good as the rest of the services!

The tires I received were all manufactured on different dates. The tires are all over a year and a half old and have no sheen on sidewalls. The sidewalls are already fading from black to grey. Two of the rims have slight damage on the edge from when the tires were mounted. etrailer customer service did offer to go through the process of sending them back and exchanging the order. I am traveling before this can realistically take place. I will need to spend that money again before I get a refund so I will have tires before I leave. After I took the survey I was informed someone would call me back to discuss my concerns. that was on 04/07/22 as of 04/08/22 that has not happened.

The tires I got are a year old based on the dot stamp and the rims have a thick coating of dust. I contacted etrailer cs and was told it is common for them to sell tires this old. The dust will wipe old but it clearly demonstrates how long they sat around the warehouse Very disappointed
