With a 60-lb capacity, the RockyMounts HighNoon FC Solo is built for e-bikes and daily rides alike. The ratcheting hook and stabilizer strap grab the front wheel without touching the frame or fender, keeping finishes safe whether you’re hauling a carbon road bike or a full-fender e-bike. The deep wheel cradle and extra-long strap fit tires up to 5.0", while the design works even if your front tire deflates mid-trip — the hook still holds firm.

Getting to your rear gear doesn’t mean unloading your bike. A front-mounted handle tilts the HighNoon down — even with your bike loaded — so you can reach the cargo area fast. When not in use, it folds up flat to keep a low profile and save storage space. The handle placement means two-handed control while lowering or raising the rack, no awkward reaching required.

Rattles and sway are gone thanks to the threaded anti-rattle hitch pin. Tightening it locks the rack solidly in place so there’s zero play at highway speeds or on rough roads. The removable adapter sleeve makes it simple to switch between 1-1/4" and 2" hitch receivers, all while keeping the same tight fit.

Both the rack and your bike lock down together. A cable lock secures the bike to the rack, and a locking hitch pin keeps the rack attached. The locks are keyed alike, so one key handles everything. It’s a small touch that makes loading, locking, and hitting the road that much simpler.

Whether you ride a step-through cruiser, a fat-tire trail bike, or a compact commuter, the HighNoon fits it. It handles wheelbases up to 52", wheels from 20" to 29", and tires up to 5" wide. At just 29 lbs, the rack is easy to move and store, yet its steel construction and black powder coat keep it durable and rust-resistant for years of rides.

I appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, Jerry. I'm glad you found a way to make this work, although I do understand it is not the ideal set up. Please keep in mind since e-bike batteries are susceptible to combustion during a collision, we recommend removing the battery while you are transporting it with your bike rack as a safety precaution. E-bikes are so much fun! Where do you like to ride?

I hate to tell you this Nomad, but this rack is only supposed to be used on bikes up to 60 pounds, you are 10 pounds over the limit my friend. The Benton LittleShift Bike Rack for 1 Bike - 2" Hitches - Wheel or Frame Mount # B54VR would be a better fit for you as it can handle bikes up to 80 pounds.

Put it back on for bike season. Easy to pull off if need be. Great rack.

After 2 years of use I am still happy with this rack. However one of the locks was lost in transit and I am disappointed that a replacement lock is not available to purchase from the manufacturer or e-trailer.
