Question:
which is more stable, the Monorail or the T1?

Expert Reply:
Both the RockyMounts MonoRail Solo 1 Bike Rack # RKY10007 and the RockyMounts HighNoon bike rack # RKY87RR are very stable. The RockyMounts MonoRail Solo has a slight edge because it sits a little closer to the vehicle causing a little less leverage. You can also add a one bike add-on to the MonoRail with part # RKY10005. However, if you have fenders on your bike, you definitely should go with the RockyMounts HighNoon FC Solo Bike Rack # RKY87RR. The HighNoon has added extra straps to make it able to clamp past your fender.
Aside from that the racks are very similar. Both lightweight (HighNoon 29 lbs, MonoRail 25 lbs), both have 60-lb weight capacities, and both only touch the bikes at the tires.
