Question:

I have a Bronco and I have a Mokwheel Electric bike. What is a decent setup for a Bike Rack that swings out and wont break my bank? Thanks, John

Hey John! The answer depends on which Mokwheel you have. If your max tire width is 4" and you're at 80 lbs or less on the weight of the bike the # B54VR is a good option. However, this mounts on the front wheel or frame. If you have fenders, or the step-through, this isn't the best option.

The RockyMounts HighNoon FC Solo # RKY87RR works well with bikes that have those features, and fits tires up to 5" wide. The only downside is that the max capacity is 60 lbs so if you have one of the heavier models that won't work. Both of these can be used with the Saris Swing Away Hitch Extender # SAR36VR you were looking at.

If you can tell me a little more about your e-bike I can see what else is available if one of these won't work for your setup.

@JohnD I assumed it had the spare since you asked for something that swings out. Looks like it is right at 80 lbs so you could use the Benton # B54VR with a bike adapter bar # HRBA-PRO.

@JohnD I bought one so I could swing open the rear hatch on my RAV4. It works great but I only put gravel bikes on it. It sticks out farther than with just a rack. But it sure makes it easy to load stuff into the car. My bikes are probably 25 pounds each. Have fun!
