Hi Glenn,
The best option to carry bikes on your new 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is going to be with a hitch mounted bike rack. However, there is currently no aftermarket trailer hitch available for your 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. Hyundai does offer an OEM hitch produced by TorkLift, and TorkLift does have it available for sale on their site, but we don't carry it. For a hitch mounted bike rack, I recommend the RockyMounts MonoRail Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches part # RKY10004. It can carry heavy or electric bikes at up to 60lbs per bike and mounts to the wheels to protect the bike's frame. The carrier itself only weighs 38lbs so, even at max weight for the bikes it should still fall within the vehicle's tongue weight (If it is the same as the 2025 Ioniq 5 N this is about 230lbs).
The only other option is a roof mounted bike rack like the SeaSucker Komodo Bike Rack for 1 Bike part # 298-BK1910-AB. It is a fork mounted bike rack so the front wheel will need to be removed and will be secured through the front of it with a pin. It installs using only vacuum cups which makes it easy to install and remove from the roof of your car. It can hold bikes weighing up to 45lbs and the carrier itself only weighs 13lbs. The weight capacity of the 2026 Ioniq 5 N's roof is 176lbs so you can easily put two carriers and two bikes onto your roof, though this may not be the most cost-effective option.

This is my go to bike rack -- placed on 2 vehicles. Use it for high-end road bikes and e-mountain bikes. Holds bikes firmly. Since bikes are attached via wheels, this rack does not damage carbon bike frames.. Heavy duty, well constructed,strong and still weighs less than some other more costly options.

Can vouch for the convenience, sturdiness, and value of the RockyMounts Monorail Rack, which etrailer representative Claire H. recommends, and which my partner and I purchased from etrailer in August of 2025. That said, we use ours on a 2025 Subaru Outback Wilderness; we bought the hitch for it (standard for trailer towing) as part of the Subaru purchase package. The RockyMounts Monorail complements our roof-mounted Inno bike carriers, which we also bought from etrailer. Roof vs rear? My rocky mounts bike for two is a dream compared to other racks I have used. I mount two emountain bikes which combined weight close to 150 lbs (battery not installed when on rack). I have never had any problems with the rack. Terry

I am very pleased with the RockyMounts MonoRail Bike Rack for 2 Bikes. We have Aventon e-bikes that do not have a top tube. That eliminated over half of the available racks. Some of the competitive racks were far more expensive. After reading several tests, I chose the MonoRail 2. It arrived in great shape. All the parts were there and it went together relatively easily. The wheel clamps fold out of the way so loading is easy. It holds the bikes securely and the bikes don't around. We have a 2025 Mazda CX-5 and there is plenty of clearance between the first bike and the tailgate. One handy feature is the one-hand fold/unfold. I would definitely purchase it again and would definitely purchase from etrailer.

I carry two 50lb. E-bikes on mine with know issues other than lifting them on to the rack. The rack has worked flawlessly.
