From what I'm looking at, you can definitely fit a base plate kit on your 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon but you'll likely have to modify the metal skid plate to do so. I'll make my recommendations for parts down below, but if you would rather avoid modifying anything on the front of your Jeep then the next best thing would be to haul your Jeep with a trailer. Here are the parts I recommend:

- etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit # e98949
- etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e34ZR
- Wiring Kit # HM56200
- 6-Pin Connector # PK12720
- Brake Kit # DM86VR for hydraulic, OR # DM26VR for air motorhome brakes
- High-Low Adapter (see attached - bracket height is 18-3/4")

I really like the look and functionality of our etrailer flat tow parts because they have great performance but also don't lead the pack in pricing either. Then the wiring kit is a tee-in style which means you aren't having to cut into your OEM wiring for that installation.

When it comes to the braking systems the reason I recommend them is because they have a longer initial install time, but after that they remain on your vehicle and easy to setup for towing but they are also hidden enough you won't notice they are there while driving your Jeep.
