Today we'll be taking a look at the rattle-rack ladder slides for rattle-rack arrow crossbars. Part number RRSEG. These rattle-rack ladder slides are great for loading and holding a ladder on your vehicle's roof rack system. They'll also work out great for any other elongated loads. They simply mount onto the channel of your roof rack system, and adjust to your load. The rounded, smooth base and L-shaped design help guide your ladder on.
They're constructed out of a non-stick coated plastic. Here on the inside, you've got about 2-1/4 inches of support. They come in a pair, and all the hardware you need to get them installed is included. They feature a limited lifetime warrantee. Now that we've gotten all the features, I'll go ahead and show you how easy this is to get installed. First thing we can do is go ahead and remove our end cap.
Normally, you would trim your rubber strips to fit around your ladder slide, but for demonstration purposes, we went ahead and just took it all out. We'll start off by taking our plastic plate here, then our T-bolt. We'll slide it underneath, and then slide this into our channel here. Then we take our ladder slide and put it down on top. This one's going to be on our passenger side, so we want to make sure it's pointing in this direction.
Once we've got it set on top of our T-bolt, we'll then take our flat washer, and then loosely install our lock nut. Then we can slide this to the other side, and repeat the same process again. I've gone ahead and measured my load so I know where to position my ladder slides. Now we can just simply tighten them down. We're just using a ten-millimeter socket. Here on the front, I'm just using rattle-rack load stops, so I can adjust those in and tighten them down, once my load is set.
You can pick up two with part number S602. Of course, if you prefer, you can just pick up another pair of ladder slides. Now let's go ahead and load up the ladder. You of course, want to strap down your gear before you hit the road. We're using some rattle-rack straps, and you can pick some up with part number RTD3. That's going to complete our look at the Rattle-rack ladder slides for Rattle-rack Arrow Crossbars. Part number RRSEG.
