Today were reviewing part number A13C2B from Optronics. This is a Polished Chrome Mounting Ring and it fits any of the MCL13 Series Lights, Series LED Lights made by Optronics. We have for example this side marker light, so let me show you how it works. The light fits right into the mounting ring like that and then the chrome ring really jazzes up the lights. Any of the Optronics lights in your MCL13 Series of LEDs will look great with this ring. It measures 3-1/4 inches long, 1-13/16 inches wide and is 7/16 inches deep.
It looks really cool. There you have it for part number A13C2B from Optronics, the Polished Chrome Mounting Ring for the Optronics MLC13 Series LED Lights. .

When my clearance light quit I ordered the Optronics MCL13A2B light, the MCL13C2B chrome ring, and the MCL13G2B gasket. So this review is actually of all three products.
I wanted to make a watertight installation and actually wasn't exactly sure how to best accomplish that. So here is what I did.
1. I place the gasket on the chrome ring.
2. I ran a bead of silicone around the gasket edge inside the chrome ring.
3. I placed the LED light into the chrome ring. My objective is to create a sealed light assembly.
4. I then backed the chrome ring with butyl tape and mounted it on the trailer.
The light is sealed from the back by the butyl tape and the silicone plus the gasket keeps the water from entering from the front.
I've ordered clear caulk which I will apply on the top half of the light to further seal out water.

I am renovating an old boat and trailer and the clearance lights and tail lights were no good. I found these clearance lights on etrailer that are perfect for replacing the old lights. These lights are made for easy installation and are water proof LED. I searched many on line stores before deciding on these and price was not my only consideration. And they arrived super quick which I was not expecting. I recommend these lights.

It’s a good product, nothing special to note just a trim piece and made of good plastic. If you’re into tricking out your trailer then it does give it a nice finished look. I have had it about a year on a boat trailer that gets dumped in saltwater constantly and no problems or discoloration. Reason for a 4 star review is there’s nothing outstanding about it.
However, etrailer customer service is outstanding and every person I talk to is extremely knowledgeable and informative. I’m a person that appreciates excellent customer service and I’m willing to be loyal to a company in return for that. So please keep doing what you’re doing!!

I found the chrome rings to make the replacement marker lights I installed to look much more professional than just the lights installed alone. They were a little lighter weight than I expected when I ordered them, but they have held up quite well so far. (Full disclosure, my boat trailer is only put in fresh water and is dried down after usage.)

Nicely made accent item for the LED running lights.

Looks great but wish they were metal vs chrome plastic. But, that's the way it is nowadays. Installed the LED lights this weekend -- look great and would recommend buying if looking for small size marker light.
