With enough hose you could mount the remote dual filter kit # D15707 anywhere. You will want to make sure that the filters and hoses so not drop below the frame. Basically anything hanging too low is susceptible to road debris.
The safest location would be up under the hood somewhere. Near to the top of the engine compartment would provide ample protection and accessibility.
For hose you can use # D15799 which is a 25 foot long piece. We also have hose clamps # D13008 you can use if you need some.
