Question:
Hi, i own a 1998 Fleetwood bounder 36 s with a 460ci engine and auto trans, I would like to install a engine oil cooler as well as a trans cooler. I would be installing this up in the grill for maximum airflow. I would like something that I could just unscrew my oil filter and install the adapter and then the filter back in but I would also need all the hoses and hardware for installing this. What do you recommend. Thanks.

Based on my research the 1998 Fleetwood Bounder M-36S Class A RV with the Ford 460 engine is based on the Ford F-53 chassis.
Coolers are not vehicle-speciofic; you can install as large a cooler as you have space to mount one. Coolers are also not fluid specific; the same cooler model can be used for engine oil and for transmission fluid or even power steering fluid.
Derale Class III cooler # D15551 includes a spin-on adapter in the required 3/4-16 thread. This will be a good choice for the engine oil. A fan-powered cooler like the # D15450 allows for installation at any convenient spot without concern for air flow since it will cool all the time regardless of your driving speed.
We also have combination coolers with dual cores that can handle cooling two fluids at once time, in a single unit. Such an item is # D15902. This includes a sandwich adapter with the 3/4-16 thread for engine oil as well as a core for the transmission fluid. It includes an Insta-dapt radiator adapter for the transmission fluid. Hardware is included. If you need more hose you can use # D15799.
We also have pan type transmission coolers like # D14208. This works on several Ford transmissions (E4OD, 4R100, 5R110 and 5R110W) and works by adding fluid capacity to the system and by passive airflow through the tubes in the pan.
