Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement Kingpin Head for the CURT CrossWing Fifth Wheel. Now, this part here will replace the kingpin head for your CURT CrossWing Fifth Wheel Hitch. Now, that CrossWing Fifth Wheel Hitch, we do sell separately. They have two part numbers.

It's 16600, or 16602. And again, both of those we do sell separately. This part here is just for the replacement kingpin head. As you can see, it includes the head itself, the two bolts of nuts to hold the head to the kingpin, and a nice set of instruction. Basically, you can see, this wedge shaped kingpin head will bolt around your trailer's kingpin on your trailer, and it remains separate from the hitch base.

I did wanna pop up an insert to show you what we're talking about. There's an example of that CrossWing Fifth Wheel, and you can see separately, is this hitch pin, or this kingpin head. Basically, this will go onto your kingpin, and then using these two bolts of nut, you'd go under there, and that'll hold it attached to your kingpin on your trailer. And then basically, what happens, this will slide into your open face funnel on the hitch base head for a nice, easier connection. This makes your hookup easier, eliminates the rattling that occurs when a kingpin sits inside the jaws on a traditional hitch.
