Specs:
Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 5,000 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 4,565 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 4,033 lumens.

Jeff: Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com.Today, we're going to take a look at the ARC Extreme series, cool white, H4 LED headlight bulbs, for a quantity of two. Now these H4 LED bulbs will let you upgrade from your factory halogen dual beam headlight bulbs. These are great for off-road and rural road conditions, and they're ideal for the projector style headlights. Now, these are not recommended for fog lights. These are the Extreme series, which features a nice automotive grade LEDs, and advanced cooling technology for maximum performance. They are brighter than a 35 watt HID system, and about five times brighter than the stock halogen bulbs. We mentioned the cooling system. They actually use this vac pipe cooling technology here, reduces the heat three times more efficiently than conventional heat sink design.
You can see it uses the nice turbo cool dual bearing fan, removes excess heat with minimal noise. Now this bulb does have this collar on it, and this bulb collar needs to be removed and installed into the headlight socket, for installation of this bulb. Basically you would just push in on it, turn it, the collar will come off, insert that into your headlight socket, and then slide your bulb in, and then just twist it and put it in the position you need. They do use precision optics, which are designed for long range visibility, zero glare, and they give off a nice, cool white color, which promotes driver awareness. Now these bulbs are compatible with 12 volt DC systems. Now the end of this video, I'm going to hook this up just to show you the low beam and the high beam on this bulb. These are a plug and play application with vehicle's existing connections. There's no cutting, splicing, or tapping required. Now it will require an anti-flicker harness, which we do sell separately on our website, for any of the CANBus and PWM-equipped vehicles. If you do need the anti-flicker harness, it's listed on this product page as a related product, and it's part number ARC76FR.Now you can also buy this as a complete kit of these bulbs with that anti-flicker harness, again, we sell separately, it's part number ARC94VR.Now these bulbs do use IP65 insulation, which provides protection from shock, water, and dust.Specs again, it's for two bulbs.
The light output per bulb as raw lumens is 5,000 lumens. Effective lumens is 4,565 lumens, and the stable lumens after 30 minutes of usage is about 4,033 lumens.Color temperature is 6,500 kelvin, wattage 45 watts per bulb, and the power draw at 13 volts DC is 3 amps per bulb. Operating voltage is 9 volts to 16 volts DC.Does come with a nice owner's manual, that'll describe all the information on how to install these in the inaudible 00:02:53 and everything. So what I'm going to do now is we're going to go ahead and hook these up to some power, and you can see it uses a three-prong plug, so what I'm going to go ahead and do is connect power to one of the plugs, and then when I touch one of them, it'll be a low beam, and when I touch the other, it'll be a high beam.So you can see right now, there would be your low beam, and that will be your high beam. Go ahead and turn off the lights, just to show you the difference. There would be your low beam, and there would be your high beam.
I'll go ahead and turn back on overhead lights, disconnect our power. But that should do it for the review on the ARC Extreme series, cool light H4 LED headlight bulbs, for a quantity of two.
