Question:

I have a 2015 skeeter 20 ft bass boat with ez loader trailer, with welded on jack bracket, dimensions are 4 3/8 x 3 3/8 center to center. What jack will bolt on to that plate.

Hi Billy,

The F500277 is for a Fulton trailer jack that is no longer in production. The 4 3/8" x 3 3/8" bracket measurements are typically from an older style weld on trailer jack, we used to have a version that fit those dimensions, but it has since been discontinued.

Our best course of action is to cut off the old bracket and weld on a new one for another trailer jack. Since your boat is roughly 2,000 to 2,175lbs depending on the model, your tongue weight is 10-15% of that. So, the Ultimate Trailer Jack - Sidewind with 27 1/2" Lift part # UJ44FR would be more than enough to lift your boat trailer. It can either be bolted on or welded on, has a 1500lb lift strength, and is zinc plated steel to resist corrosion.

What's your favorite place to take your boat out fishing?

Cave run lake is my favorite place to go fishing, mainly target muskys.

@Billy Oh wow! The fish of 10,000 casts is a challenge for sure! What's the largest musky you've caught?
