Recommendation For Using Bike Rack With Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier w/o Reducing Ground Clearance
Question:
I have a 2020 Forest River Sunseeker 2250LE that doesnt have a spare tire. I am interested in the hitch mount 195225 carrier because of its dually wheels. My concern is the 2 inch offset for the additional bike/rack adapter. These units dont have much clearance and the lower adapter hitch and distance from the rear bumper would compromise that even more. Ive noticed you sell a hitch riser that would eliminate this concern. Would this product or one similar work for this hitch. Thank you.

If you are going to use a riser I recommend the Gen-Y Stacked Receivers # 325-GH-304 placed in the rise position. This will allow you to place the Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195225 in a higher position on your 2020 Forest River Sunseeker 2250LE.
A simpler option might be to use the Malone Hanger Spare Tire Bike Rack # MPG2147. This will attach to the spare tire allowing you to carry up to 3 bikes without having to insert a hitch mounted bike rack.
