Can I use this anti-rattle clamp with a 3” to 2” reducer?

Good afternoon Nathan, that's a great question! You can use the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar for 2" Hitch Receivers # e38FV with a 3" to 2" reducer adapter like Buyers Products 3" to 2" Receiver Tube Adapter # 337RTA302 when installed on the 2" section.

Keep in mind, this adapter is not a fit for the vehicle's 3" receiver section. I added a photo which highlights the 2" section that this adapter would be compatible with on a 3" to 2" adapter. Usually this anti-rattle collar is used on a 2" vehicle receiver though. For the 3" section, you can use something like B&W Anti-Rattle Clamp for 3" Hitch Receivers # BW75FR.
