Thule Roof Rack Review - 2018 Audi Q5

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2018 Audi Q5, we're going to be testing the Thule Aeroblade Roof Rack System; that's gonna consist of part numbers TH-ARB47, which is our 47 inch load bars we have up top that are silver. These also do come in black, under part number TH-ARB47B. Down here, we have our podium foot pack, which is going to be part number TH-460R. Connecting our foot pack to our factory side rails we have our thick kit, which is going to be part number TH-KIT4078.As you can see, these load bars have a nice aerodynamic shape to them, so that's going to help cut down on wind noise and drag while you're traveling. As you can see, this rubber strip up here is also going to help out with wind noise and drag, but seeing that rubber strip also lets us know that this roof rack can utilize t-track accessories. Now, unlike a lot of systems, where you might have to take off the whole system or the end cap to access the channel, with this system you simply just spin up this part of the end cap and you can access this channel now. You simply just pull out your strip, cut it to the length you need for your t-track accessory and then insert it back into the channel. If we take this end cap off, we can look and see how this is connected.
