Fifth Wheel Rail Adapter Recommendation for a B and W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch

I have seen a replacement BandW pin for a BandW companion hitch. I want to make a system that will fit my BandW goose neck hitch and convert it to a framework that will accept my rails for a 5th wheel hitch. The replacement pin would be the same as on a BandW Companion hitch system. square pin extending above the truck bed and bolted to the framework of the 5th wheel hitch. Can you direct me to that product?

Since you have a B and W square shank turnover ball gooseneck hitch in your truck all you would need to convert this hitch to standard fifth wheel rails would be the Curt X5 Adapter part # 16310.

This will fit right into your hitch and would work great. Check out the review video I attached for more info.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…
