Compatibility of Hitch-Mount Snow Plow on 2013 Ford F-150
Updated 11/18/2014 | Published 11/16/2014 >
Question:
I have heard there are problems associated with mounting a traditional snow plow on the newer Ford F150 2013/2014. If this is correct, are there accessory packages available to make it possible ?

We offer a range of 2-inch hitch-mount snow plows that can work on your 2013 or 2014 model year Ford F-150 so long as it has a front-mounted 2-inch hitch receiver. I know of no particular issues with using a snow plow on the later model F-150s.
If you need a front hitch for your truck you can use the link at right to select a 2-inch hitch. Since you did not specify whether you have a 2013 or 2014 I have included two links, one for each model year, that you can use to select your truck version using the Select Vehicle Style drop-down menu bar. These will show you all front-mount hitches we offer.
If you already have a 2-inch hitch on the front of your truck then you can use other link provided to see snow plows that will fit the 2-inch hitch.
You may want to consider a front axle suspension enhancement kit to help reduce sag from the weight of the plow. I included a link for our main page for suspension enhancement kits where you can enter your vehicle specifics to see compatible kits.
